A new house set atop a vegetated dune overlooking Lake Erie. The primary design goals were; open interior space, optimized lake views, controlled daylight & natural ventilation. The placement of a modified post & beam structure defines the various areas of the main open living space. Power-operated clerestory windows provide daylight and exhaust of warm air.
